Academy of Makeup & Fashion has a “no nonsense” approach to teaching this profession. This is eye shadow and lipstick and it should not take 6 months to learn it! For a creative person…that could get boring. We will not waist time! We teach what it is you have to know and also have represented in your professional Portfolio, to get you out there and be ready to go to WORK.

We feel the same about the art of Special Effects. The Academy offers two HANDS ON Certificate workshops.

Instructed by Natalie Wood, Journeyman Makeup Artist – Union Local 706 Natalie has over 20 years of experience in Makeup for Film & Television, 16 of which has been in Special EFX makeup. This is her passion! She has traveled worldwide for productions or to demonstrate her art.

Her work has been recognized in various media, including magazines, newspapers and television.
